## Notes

chainsaw: Re-checked all six live finds: all still listed at the same prices (Gumtree via Chrome after WebFetch 403). Ran all nine Facebook /marketplace/melbourne/ searches (MS 462, MS 461, MS 500i, MS 661, 572 XP, 592 XP, 395 XP, 390 XP, stihl chainsaw); Chrome reachable. Also seen but not sent: MS 462 $1,500 Melbourne (fb-1012169534858142, same 3032 seller), MS 461 rebuilt $1,600 Melbourne, MS 661 C-M $1,650 Melbourne, 661 Magnum $1,700 Nar Nar Goon, MS 880 $1,950 Melbourne, Husqvarna 390 XP $1,400 Woori Yallock, 460 ported $1,450 Bittern, Stihl 460 $1,500 Healesville, MS 461 $1,500 Geelong, 592 XP 24in $2,080 Melbourne (over budget). Gumtree Melbourne search: nothing new. eBay (Chrome, WebFetch 403): MS 462C $1,778.70 local pickup with location not shown, MS 460 auction at $738.70 shipped, scored-piston 500i; none sent. Grays: URL search params ignored (two tries, results unrelated), skipped. Stihl lists the MS 660 for 20-36in bars; MS 460 max bar cited at 28-32in on forums only. | deep-ripper: Re-checked all 6 live finds: all still listed, prices unchanged (Pipeliner via Chrome after WebFetch 403; Hayes via WebFetch). Facebook (Chrome, reachable) searched griffith: 'single tyne ripper', 'deep ripper', 'root ripper' (pipe layer ripper results overlapped). Rejected: Seymour VIC new 60 mm pipe-layer single tyne $990 (no hp rating, lighter than Hayes for similar money); Red Cliffs 'Deep Ripper' $900 (looks like a toolbar shank, mount unclear, 21 weeks old); Limerick NSW $250 ('dingy', no detail); Swan Hill $7,999 (9-tyne build-to-order); Hanmey blade Goulburn (pending pickup); Melbourne ripper/pipe layer $500 (over 400 km). Gumtree (Chrome; WebFetch 403): only QLD dealer stock (Wamuran $550-950, Imbil $950, EuroLeopard $599 no hp) and light units in VIC; nothing within 400 km worth sending. Machines4u: only a WA Barrett 70 hp $700. Grays: URL search ignores the term, skipped. farmmachinerysales search URL 404s. made-in-china: Darong single shank US$220 but MOQ 10 and no hp; alibaba returned empty. Web search found Fieldquip STR500 (35-85 hp, $1,872) and Jarrett SR100 (20-60 hp), both under-rated. | dog-cooling-mat: Re-checked all 6 live finds: all still listed. Yarraville cut $15 to $10, the rest are unchanged. Facebook (Chrome) searched for 'dog cooling mat', 'cooling mat large' and 'pet cool mat'. Skipped: no size stated (Pet Cooling Mat $5, Dogs cooler mats $10, Large Cooling pad $10 Hoppers Crossing, XL ice-pad $30 posted); under size (All For Paws Chill Out 89 x 60 cm $30, 52 cm mat $15); Anko L new $15 in Clayton South (size not stated, about 30 km); Petzly large $15 in Scarsdale (too far). Gumtree: 90 x 50 cm gel mat $8 is in Noosa QLD, pickup only, so skipped. WebFetch got 403 from Kmart and Gumtree; read both in Chrome instead. Kmart page shows a Sydney (Broadway) store context that was already set; left it as is, so Highpoint stock is not confirmed. The Petstock search URL dropped the query param, so I searched by web instead: Lexi & Me Large lists at $34.97 there (search snippet, not opened). Petbarn not opened. Bunnings Pillar 90 x 60 read in Chrome, no store selected. All my tabs closed. | dog-trough: Re-checked all 5 live finds on 2026-10-14: prices and specs unchanged. Tank World WebFetch returned 403, so the three Tank World pages were read in Chrome; Bunnings $345 read in Chrome (the specs tab could not be re-read because the extension blocked the script, so the earlier 1,300 x 500 mm spec stands). Facebook reachable in my own tab; shared location not changed. Searched /marketplace/melbourne for poly trough, water trough 500l, stock trough, dog pool, horse trough. Nothing new in range: Baxter $300 1200 longline feed trough (seen before, a feed trough, about 60 km); Reln 1,000 L $400 is in Goulburn NSW; Launching Place $30 troughs are half barrels; Pyalong $150 poly trough, Sunbury 200 L $395, Geelong $350, Chiltern 450 L $375, Myers Flat $620 are out of range or wrong size as before; 'dog pool' gave only foldable or inflatable pools. Gumtree 'poly trough': one green poly trough, $250, 650 mm high, in Valley View SA; rejected. Stratco 500 L page still shows no price (it showed a store already set by another session; I did not change it). Bushman 500 L round (1,140 x 500 mm) and rectangle (2,400 x 760 x 420 mm) still have no published price. Elders, Landmark, CRT and Nutrien: web search found no online 500 L trough prices. Bunnings also lists a RapidPlas 600 L round water trough at $599, over the ceiling; not opened. | drop-deck-trailer: Chrome and Facebook reachable. All 4 live FB finds re-checked: still listed, prices unchanged. Bendigo fb-2993323807675841 still says '6m long single axle ... 12 tonne ATM'; kept flagged. Both Machines4u finds still listed at the same price. FB griffith/search (redirects to the shared Darlington Point 500 km setting): plant trailer, beavertail trailer, tag trailer, drop deck trailer, tilt tray trailer. Opened and rejected: Redline tipper Wagga $18k, Wangaratta flat hay trailer $15k, Dubbo 3.6 m tilt $9k (no rating), Harcourt North Huntly 2.8 t $7.8k, Leeton unfinished 6 m trailer $7k, Sunbury drop deck hay/machinery $6k (out of radius, no year). Gumtree (Chrome): plant trailer mostly light new units; tag trailer gave the Tumut Macol cross-listing and a WA pole trailer. Grays (Chrome): 1995 Drake super dog tag skipped (pre-2001). Pickles: Midland Tag 2 added. Slattery trailer category: tag lots all at Hexham NSW (~700 km). farmmachinerysales NSW trailer category: 2014 Nixons tandem tag $30k (over budget). Machines4u tag/beavertail searches: 2006 EMUS tag $28.5k in Ipswich QLD, too far and over. trucksales.com.au: category and /trailers/ pages both 404, stopped after 2 tries. tradefarmmachinery 403 via WebFetch, not retried. Gumtree 403 via WebFetch, worked in Chrome. No FB photos taken: the new FB finds are stretch.
